Information Management Services

A little more than that.

01

Fractional project and portfolio leadership

Experienced leadership for an important project or a whole portfolio, part-time, without adding a permanent position. Governance and reporting, scope, budget, risk and vendors, kept in line with leadership’s priorities.

02

Project recovery

For projects that are late, over budget or have lost confidence. A quick, honest assessment; a realistic reset of scope, schedule and budget; clear expectations with the vendor; and a shared plan that leadership and technical teams understand and support.

03

Process and procurement

RFPs and statements of work, vendor selection and contracts, state IT governance, and grant-funded delivery. Procurement, legal, finance and operations are brought in early, not discovered late.

What IMS means

Information Management Services: managing the flow of information between leadership and technical teams, so decisions are understood, work stays aligned and projects deliver.

Leaders get decisions they can understand. Technical teams get a project manager who speaks their language. And the offices every project depends on — procurement, legal, finance, HR, facilities — are part of the plan from the start.

  • DeliveryOn time, on budget and in scope.
  • AlignmentEvery group the project touches, pulling together.
  • ClarityPlain language, honest status, no surprises.
  • StewardshipCareful with public money and public trust.

I first used the name Morette in 1990. To me it meant “there is more, and a little more than that.” The French ending -ette means “a little,” so the name holds that idea on its own.

It also connects to my French heritage: Morette is a small commune in the Isère department of southeastern France, about 24 kilometers from Grenoble.

That spirit still guides the work. Do what the project needs, then a little more.
